Taking place from Feb 14-18 at The Westin Kansas City at Crown Center, the 30th Annual Folk Alliance International Conference is the world’s largest conference for the Folk music industry and community!
In addition to the catch-all style of “folk” music, other genres being represented from artists around the world include:
- Global Roots
- Old Time
- Spoken Word
Pretty awesome, right?!
If you’re anywhere close to Kansas City this weekend this is THE place to be … so make sure and stop by the venue and get registered!
Honestly, we were fairly surprised when diving into this year’s schedule. Upon first glance, our eyes nearly popped out of their sockets at the sheer volume of female artists and bands included in the lineup.
It’s always a delight to see familiar names of musicians we’ve worked with on WomensRadio too…
Fact: There’s an enormous range of talent being represented here — coming from OVER 100 FEMALE MUSICIANS!
To best highlight the female artists performing at the 30th Annual Folk Alliance International Conference, we’ve put together a bit of a spotlight just for you — we KNOW you’ll find something you LOVE!
Watch the video above to get a feel for the conference’s vibe and scroll down to pay it forward by hitting those like buttons like nobody’s business!
