It’s been a few years since our team held a SXSW badge and gosh are we kicking ourselves for not being in Austin this week!
Fans of quality music could skip stones off of all the talent pouring into downtown Austin for South by Southwest and Flood Magazine’s annual FLOODfest 2018 is no exception.
However, after further investigation we’ve been turned on to several others that we can’t wait for you to get familiar with and, should your schedule allow, catch at FLOODfest 2018!
Seriously though, there’s a great chance you’re going to hear something that blows your mind at this showcase! From In the Valley Below’s dreamy pop soundscapes on the 14th to Speedy Ortiz’s “necessary brattiness” helping close things out on Friday, there’s good reason this party is at the top of our SXSW list.
In our search to bring you the finest female musicians performing at FLOODfest 2018, we’ve pinpointed all of the female musicians and bands containing female members we feel are much deserving of your ears and eyes.
Take a moment to get a feel for each artist/band’s vibe, hit the “like” button on their FB pages and register before the spots fill up, as your afternoons in Austin are about to get FLOODED with awesomeness!
And don’t be that person just rolling up your pant legs…dive in head first!
