What do Independence Day, fried chicken, Nancy Reagan, folk music, quinceaneras and daughters walking with fathers have in common? Okay. Here it is. One time Nancy ate fried chicken on Independence Day while walking with her father past a quinceanera playing folk music. True story. (Not at all.) The real truth is that all these things are teaming up to make the first week of July totally awesome!
From living legends (can you believe Sheryl Crow is performing?!) to revered artists of the current generation (Courtney Barnett is simply the best) to those wholeheartedly embodying the DIY spirit (we still need to catch a show of Gaelynn Lea’s), this year’s lineup is one that we anticipate being talked about for a long time to come.
